Guido Jäger studied  double bass at the college of music in Lübeck and is living at present as an independent musician and composer near Hamburg.

After several tours through Israel and Spain with „The Philharmonie der Nationen“ he was engaged by Tom Waits at the theatre Thalia for the play Alice by Bob Wilson. Guest performances in USA, Italy and Portugal.

Since 1995 he is a permanent member of the Giora Feidman Trio with Europe-wide concerts, TV performances, CD productions, also as a composer on the new CD “Journey”.
